On Tuesday, November 3, Edward Burtynsky joins Lakefield College School as the 2026 Jack Matthews Fellow.

For more than four decades, Burtynsky’s photography has explored the complex environmental, social and economic forces shaping our world. His large-scale images offer a powerful perspective on industry, resource use, climate change and our relationship with the landscapes around us.
